SeekersGuidance Appalachian Retreat: Journey to Allah
So rush to Allah (Quran, 51:50)

We are honored and pleased to announce that Dr. Umar Faruq Abd-Allah of Nawawi Foundation is confirmed as a teacher for the upcoming retreat, Alhamdulillah.

Internationally recognized Islamic artist, Nader Khan will be joining us for the entire duration of the retreat also. We will dedicate one night to a concert with Brother Nader Khan at the retreat, insha Allah.

Alhamdulillah, Ustadh Mohammad Tayssir Safi and Ustadh Sa’ad Quadri will be attending the retreat also who will dedicate their entire time with the youth hosting workshops and giving lectures supported by the two youth Directors, Irfan Shuttari and Sadaf Shaukat Shuttari, insha Allah.

Since all the private family cabins have been booked, we have put together a list of all off-site lodgings available if you wish to take this route. Registration cost has been reduced for this option. Please review the Information Package for details regarding off-site registration and lodging locations/information.

Remember, babysitting is available. This is no ordinary babysitting; expect your child/children to leave this retreat geared with new supplications (dua’s) and surahs of the Quran as we provide capable sisters who lead this important role at the retreat, insha Allah.

Look forward to more updates in the near future regarding this once in a life-time opportunity to be surrounded by people of knowledge & inspiration who are ambassadors of the Prophet, God’s peace and blessings be upon him.

The much anticipated annual SeekersGuidance retreat is now open for registration. The first SeekersGuidance Appalachian Retreat hosted by the Muslim Community of Knoxville in 2010 was a huge success, alhamdulillah. Please take a moment to review the
2010 SeekersGuidance retreat blog. Last year we hosted ~120 students. This year, we have increased our capacity to 150 students.
