One of its kind. Fresh. Brilliant portrait of a Muslim American family by playwright Wajahat Ali, who takes his audience through three generations of a Pakistani American family of six (grandfather, father, mother, two sons and a daughter). The play’s First Act (click to watch) was performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in D.C. I hope they bring the entire play back to D.C. soon because I am dying to find out what happens with youngest son’s decision to….

Also, Domestic Crusaders can be purchased on paperback at Amazon (click to buy). For more information, please visit: http://www.domesticcrusaders.com/

about

The post 9/11 climate for American Muslims has been one of fear, mistrust, and stereotypes. It is important now more than ever to develop authentic positive imagery of our community. As a photographer specializing in branding an American Muslim identity, my personal project is (hopefully) to capture the unique qualities of exceptional people and the work that they do.
